Welcome to Steinberg's VST Drum Session Presentation.
Please run 'The Virtual Drumming Movie' to learn more about the power and flexibility of Cubase VST in conjunction with the VST Drum Sessions. We have provided transport controls at the bottom of the presentation so you can start, stop and review any of the sections at your own speed. If the Color Depth of your monitor is set to '256', please change it to 'Thousands' in the 'monitors control panel'.
Watching the movie will tell you a lot about VST Drum Sessions but there is nothing like seeing how easy it really is. We have included two example songs, each taken from the same named CD Volumes containing 20 songs of that style. Please copy the Example Songs which you can find in the 'Try it yourself!' folder to your hard disk, before you load them into Cubase VST.

Note:
If Cubase VST displays a warning message such as 'not enough memory available...' please increase the Memory Requirements 'Minimum Size' of Cubase VST. Cubase VST normally requires about 24 MB as an absolute minimum, but 32 MB is recommended.
If you don't already have Cubase VST installed on your computer, please install the 'Cubase VST/24 Demo' version onto your computer. This too can be found in the 'Try it yourself!' folder.
Please be aware that your computer needs to have QuickTime installed to run the 'The Virtual Drumming Movie'. QuickTime is a part of the Macintosh operating system. By default it should be installed on your computer for all later OS versions, but you may have disabled it in the 'Extension Manager' or deleted it. If so, please run the QuickTime installation program which comes on this CD-ROM.
